La Linotte

Larimar’Quill is one of the most exciting young stallions in modern show jumping breeding. As a son of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, he was bred by the renowned Haras de Clarbec stud farm in Normandy and comes from an exceptional dam line: his first four dams were all internationally successful top-class horses. He already made a lasting impression at the performance test for three-year-old stallions in Saint-Lô. Like his sire and dam, Larimar’Quill has been ridden by Harrie Smolders, who describes him as a modern, eager stallion with excellent jumping quality. His powerful, well-controlled canter, his focus on the obstacle, and his positive work ethic are particularly appreciated. He combines athleticism, character, and genetic depth, making him equally suitable for top-level competition and modern performance breeding.

The dam, Fogata, a daughter of Diamant de Semilly, was herself successful up to 1.45 m and impresses with both her athletic performance and her pedigree. She is the full sister of the internationally successful CSI5* winner Arioto du Gevres, who achieved numerous victories at the 1.60 m level under Marc Dilasser. Fogata comes from one of the most renowned performance lines in international show jumping. The dam line traces back, among others, to the exceptional mare Ta Belle van Sombeke and regularly produces horses for top-level international competition as well as for breeding.
